Thanks to bowser134 the roof is working again. The cables and wiring were all twisted up. The gasket between the motor and pump was shot. The plastic cog driven by the motor was missing it's metal brace and would most likely have been chewed up by the motor spindle. All fixed, hydraulic fluid topped up and motor relocated to the boot without taking off the roof. And all at 7:30 in the morning. Top man!!
