Quick question - are any of you experiencing tinny/clanky doors when you shut them? I've found a few sound dampening solutions on the web, but it looks like the sort of fix that offers more issues then an overall solution. Anyone had a crack at this?

Hi Richard......welcome from another Newbie. Lovely car you have there.....really like the cream interior.
I too have the tinny doors.........guessing it's common to all Z's. Hopefully someone will be along who has done the dampening.

Yes i picked it up from down st albans, from what i gathered it was a second (maybe third car) that was only used in the summer periods. I was 50/50 with the auto box but its the best ive driven. The only thing im still pondering over is where to permanently house the hardtop, although im considering buying the bag for it and hanging it from the ceiling.

Hi and welcome. Hard top storage - I have the bag and have attached a heavy duty 'ladder' hook (B and Q) to the garage wall and it hangs there when not in use.
