Hello all,
Just picked up my Z4 on Tuesday. It is a 55 reg 3.0i SE, Silver with black interior. It is a very standard car, running on 17" wheels. Enjoying it very much so far. In the past I've had a Subaru WRX, several Mazda MX5s and an Audi TT. The Z4 seems to embody the best of these cars. The performance of the Subaru, the agility of the Mazda and the luxurious interior of the Audi.
Only fault I have found so far is the front fog lamps have a lot of condensation inside. It seems simple to remove the lamps to dry them out, or I could use the last few months of my warranty to have them sorted by the stealer. btw I called the local dealer to enquire about extending the warranty. But when they said it was £600 for the next 12 months, plus an excess of £100 per claim I think I'll just wing it and hope the car is reliable. Or are Zeds so unreliable that this is a good deal?
I live near Stirling so hopefully I'll meet up with some of the Scottish members sometime.
David
p.s. Pics to follow if it ever stops raining
