I recently got water into my driver side headlights, I opened the cover on a hot day to let the water escape. A few days later there was water again and shortly after that my Xeon bulb stopped working. Bought two replacements, they both work on the passenger side but not the driver side so i concluded that the High voltage capacitor at the lamp is most likely damaged. So i bought one of them and it is underway from the UK. Does anyone know how to take the entire light assembly out of the Z4? [2003 Z4] I want to make sure that the whatever let water into the headlight in the first place is fixed, and that any additional h2o is surely removed. At the first look it seem that i will have to take off the entire driver fender and my front OEM body kit. Has anyone ever take out the front light assembly? Is there a guide to this and am i right to assume that it takes all that work to remove it?
Thank you
