Head banging frustration...

Had to laugh when the Welsh police stopped 850 cars the other weekend who were visiting Pen y Fan and Brecons. 85 turned back and 8 prosecuted - including a van load from London who wanted to see snow as they had never seen it before.
Bit like all the off road cyclists descending on the Forest of Dean - car parks shut to deter visitors so just parked anywhere and everywhere.
Or on the beaches last spring.
Rules are for everyone else, not me!

This is the major issue in Wales, we are trying to educate rather than fine which may have been right in the first lockdown ut now we all know the rules.

The minibus load were from Gloucester not London and they did actually fine the driver.

I live close to. local beauty spot and have a private drive shared with 2 neighbours, you would be surprised the number of people who drive up here trying to get to the pond on the weekend, must be 30 or 40 cars each day, they get told to go away as they are actually on private property.

They are coming from miles away and even posted stuff about it on Facebook making the situation worse, we get them from Somerset etc.

I have to laugh at a lot of the comments on here while remembering the amount of people on here who have travelled long distances into Scotland to do the NC500 or for holidays during the last 9 months.
It can be quite annoying trying to stick to the rules about not going anywhere when you look around and everybody else is doing what they like and going wherever they please.

Well I have not gone anywhere during lockdown other than shops or work and that has been minimised to once per week.

Travelling is not worth the risk and even if I am ok, I could spread the disease to my parents who are older.

Glad to hear your parents are older than you. :poke:
