I’m moving to a square set up with a nice set of forged 405M’s inbound (8x18 ET34) I’ll probably run a 10mm spacer on the rear to get them close to flush.
I’m looking at 225/40/18’s all around, which will give a more neutral balance and, by saving circa 3KG per corner un-sprung mass, should give a bit of nimbleness down the country lanes I frequent!
I’ve run PS4’s before in an 18, but never tried the Goodyear eagle F1’s (Assy 5’s) - is anyone able to give a direct comparison of both?
There’s only about £25 in it (PS4’s £330 fitted F1’s £305 fitted) and I’m tempted to try the Goodyears but don’t want to regret it. The Khumo Ecsta 71’s come in at about £268, but that seems a bit of a silly choice when the F1’s are under £40 more…
Any thoughts welcome
