Bumping this up in case anyone else fancies joining us next weekend.

Hi paul , me an mrs M will be comming up sat now with sat night in morpeth, the aim is to have alook round the area an check some roads out for next year, our plan is to come up the M6 from Manchester area, onto A7 , so the question is do we go up to Hawick , down b6399, up the B6357 come off at Saughtree to kielder, Bellingham to our digs at Morpeth, or do I miss out Hawick and cut up to Newcastleton then on to Kielder, etc.
Any advice appreciated,
Cheers Maurice,

We drive these roads on our Hawick Loop run. I'll pm you with comments on the routes.

Hi Dave, looks like we're going to have a nice number (not too many) to enjoy this hoon. Let's hope the weather and traffic gods are on side.

Oh, the answer is yes by the way . . . . .(You know the way (though we have an extra beginning and extra lap at the end) :D )

Hi All,

Will be sending a pm to you all this afternoon or evening.

Main thing is to let me know if you are not coming - don't want to be hanging around at the start if you're a no show. I'll be sending my mobile number so a text will do.

Looking forward to Sunday - (there is a cycling event on the Sat so lets hope that means less of them on our day).

Have a good one Paul, Steph and everyone else - we had hoped to attend but my young sister is visiting this weekend. Another time . . . :driving:

Hi Jax good to hear from you. Family first - as you say, another time.

Indeed - it's like a State Visit - she doesn't get down from the Northern Territories too often - guess we'll need to find the hoover and a duster ! ( should have said Dyson)

Oh and hope the pace was OK for everyone when I took the lead most of the afternoons route.
One day I might organise a run......... to be continued.

Just to reiterate my thanks as well to Paul and Trish thanks for letting me join you again . Great to meet everybody it shows how important these drives out are when people are prepared to travel so far to participate. Just have to convince the boss now that I NEED a "Z" because I really want to be allowed to be with you instead of following lol. Hope you all got home safely.Oh and Craig all I say is Alston !!.
Thanks again to STEFF and PAUL.
