Hardtop stops?

I never realised this was a thing until I read this posts - so checked at the weekend and mine is also within a couple of mm from the glass when the boot is fully open.
So to be on the safe side, I'm looking to get some spacers.

Hi Buckley06 - I was going to try HDPE, but do not have enough material at the mo, and I have a reputation for being sidetracked by shiny things as soon as I go into the garage, so if you would like to step up and sort some first that is fine with me, we can always end up offering a diverse material range to keep the custom look going 
When I get to the point I can make some up I will check this thread and see where we are.

Can do, I was just going to make a ton of stops.
In black, white, blue and red.
I will be doing it on my cnc so will probably make a good size batch.
If you need plastic I have so many off cuts you can have.
Off cuts range from 30mm long to 150mm long
From 20dia up to 300 dia lol

I bow to your CNC’ness :happyclap: I got my lathe for £50, and the state you would expect at this price coupled with my skills (bit more, bit more.. damn too much
) makes identical batches a thing to dream of – I’ll hand over the role of hardtop stop forum production line to you if you are happy to help.As to off cuts I would love some other sizes/materials to play with as my stock pile is smaller than a stubby aerial…. I will send you a pm to save turning this into a machining thread

Buckley knocked me up a couple of stops when I popped to see him Wednesday night and they do the trick perfectly

Can somebody tell me how to rotate? I usually just crop a photo square so it doesn’t auto rotate?
