A couple of years back I had some hard polyurethane pipe knocking about in the garage which looked as if it may just fit over the small stops on the boot lid hinges. With the help of some GT85 spray I managed to 'persuade' it over the stops and trimmed off the excess with a sharp blade. The boot lid comes to rest vertically a little more gently now and the gap is a much healthier 10mm or so![]()

That I have done... and a box of fixings... hmmm and I’ve used some fat black plastics for my front splitter mounting.... time to look in the shed![]()
