Hardtop For Sale Thread

I'm potentially looking for a hardtop in Silver Grey, no rush, in fact I'd rather pick one up after the winter, so if you have one you are thinking of parting with next year please get in touch. :)

Just messaged to see what's what

So you can have 3 hardtops? :poke:

Haha no I sold the silver hardtop to a friend in the end for cheap a while back as was in far too good condition to warrant me getting it resprayed, I kinda hoped it had scratches at least so I could warrant getting it sprayed. Also toyed with holding onto it until winter and selling at a profit but decided against that as that's not the reason I bought it for. Still on the lookout for a bargain hardtop to get sprayed white so I can have 1 black and 1 white, so hopefully a cheap scratched 1 comes along sometime.... :fuelfire:

The one on ebay is sterling grey and no bids....yet

I'm looking for a black one...
Anyone wrapped one in carbon 3M film ? might be cheaper than spraying and look cool?

Not seen one done before. I think I've read a few do the spoiler section in wrap... never the whole thing. It's something I'd like to do, but would have to be one-piece and done by a pro. I also think matte carbon might look slightly tacky? So I'd personally go for a Gloss Carbon wrap :)

Not mine, but just spotted on eBay:

Perhaps: A tad on the steep side, considering the Seller has declared two areas of minor damage on the front leading edge!!

Might be of use to someone, in the hunt for a Hard Top

Way over priced....

@kis, Agree gloss carbon look, small weave, needs to be one piece for the main roof. Any idea on cost, never had anything wrapped.

No idea mate. I've enquiried about a bonnet wrap, but that's considerably easier to do! Figured I'd get both done at the same time... well eventually!

Mine is for sale! Not yet on eBay, but looks like it will be going that way :).

Yeah I looked at those picture loads.... I can't get past the rear window reminding me of an invalid carriage ! perhaps it looks better in the flesh.

I've got one that i may sell at some point. Sterling grey, inside covers, locking tool, cover, instructions, original invoice.

I've moved home and don't have a garage at my new address, so i don't really have anywhere to store it.

Couple of tiny stonechips on top, but no corner damage.

Will have to get some photo's of it. But for now, here's one to show how good they look when fitted

How easy do you think it would be to get one of these resprayed? I've yet to see one in Merlot which is why I ask

Around the £300-£350 mark, depending on condition

This is selling well. I put a cheeky bid in :)

I was interested when there were no photo's up and bids were crawling along at £250. I put an enquirey in about delivery. Since the photos went up today the bids have sky rocketed! Beyond what I'm able to pay, but the seller keeps emailing me still.

For what it's worth it's probably the best example you're ever likely to find these days, bought new and untouched ever since.

Yeah, I think he must have a round Robin message system as I keep getting updates too.

There were some made originally in merlot at the factory, mine being one of them. A previous owner had resprayed it sterling grey so it must be a possible job. I think the rear window has to be removed to get in the grooves around it although a paint guy would probably know best.
