It's a two man job. Lay a couple of sheets down near to the car (I use a couple of old duvets) incase you need to rest it down before going on.

I wipe the rubber gaskets where it meets and then apply some rubber oil or tyre dressing over them to help prevent any squeaks or leaks.

There's also a ground either side that plugs into the connectors. These are just behind where the two pins fit into the holes on each side (next to the head rests) Connect these up before you turn and lock the pins as it's easier to get your hands in there.

Nice job to do if it's not raining, you will get more wind noise on the motorway though

I've got some rubber dressing which I've applied to the seal on the hardtop and I'll do the car before I put the roof on. Just abit worried about those inserts I'm missing labelled part E. Thanks for the advice much appreciated couldn't seem to find anything on here?! Going to put it on tonight seemed a waste to do it while the suns out! Will post pictures later as well if it fits ok

Inserts are cosmetic although it would bug me if I lost mine! Should be 3 in total; one over each locking mechanism. Not sure if you can buy them as individual parts.

Also clean your inner rear screen while the tops off, it's a nightmare from inside the car!

Think i'll have to but i'll get away with it for now. Thinking i'll spray it black

For sure it'll do for now, but come the Spring when you take it off you can get it sprayed at a good rate by waiting until the sprayer has a quiet week and feel no rush.

I've managed to get mine so that the wind rush noise only starts at speeds in 3 figures. Adjusted to 5mm gaps at the back and then a strip of 'p' profile draught excluder tape along the front of the hardtop next to the existing black foam did the trick. Lots of trial and error though.
