It's a two man job. Lay a couple of sheets down near to the car (I use a couple of old duvets) incase you need to rest it down before going on.
I wipe the rubber gaskets where it meets and then apply some rubber oil or tyre dressing over them to help prevent any squeaks or leaks.
There's also a ground either side that plugs into the connectors. These are just behind where the two pins fit into the holes on each side (next to the head rests) Connect these up before you turn and lock the pins as it's easier to get your hands in there.
Nice job to do if it's not raining, you will get more wind noise on the motorway though
