Hard Top and extras for sale.

Try and do without for this winter and buy when the weather is warm again and nobody wants to wear a hard top!

Thats good advice as the price is cheaper, but requires forward planning though

When I bought mine from a forum member i combined a weekend away to offset the travel time and petrol costs, the weekend away was a great excuse to drive the zed with the top down across the country. A european road trip and the bargain price would give added value regardless of the overall cost of the trip. I would snap it up and enjoy the German roads.

What price do the roofs normally go for on here then. He is open to offers but obviously wants as much as he can get for it. I've persuaded him to let me put it on here to give the forum first choice at it..

I saw several hard tops sell on here for £700/750 earlier this year, I've not been a member for all that long so not sure if those prices are typical.
Regards

The point I mentioned earlier is the colour. The last car in that colour was 2005, and would be worth about £5k so probably not that many takers to buy a roof at 20% value of the car.

All newer cars need to include the respray costs, aprox £150 - £200.

So for most people the top would be £1200 once received. This is assuming a 100% in new state unit, compared to the new units available in Germany for less than half the price.

If it was a newer colour / or more common one, you can obtain a higher price, otherwise I would be thinking more about the £650 - £700 range which opens the door to other colour users as well.

Isn't it winter tyre time in Germany now?

i agree with what your saying, but on the other hand they still fit more expensive models and like you said £150 to £200 will get it any colour you like, providing the price of the roof is Wright of course
