Hi, I know that this subject has been covered alot in alot of threads but the information and the opinions are so vast that i can't seem to get any straight answer. So please anyone who
has experience over this matter say your opinion.
I took some pictures of my cars headlight instalation (didn't have the time to take the headlight out so i don't have pics of the headlight), as you can see in the photos there is an external ballast installed for my xenon which probably means that my headlight had halogen bulbs and the previous owner used an aftermarket HID kit to install xenons on the car. The OEM xenons i think have the ballast inside the headlight casing ( correct me if i am wrong ).
Right Headlight with Ballast
Left Headlight with Ballast
Can anyone confirm that these are halogen ones and not Xenon?
I have decided to change my headlights. I found these on ebay

As you can see they say that they are HID type and not the non HID type that RHD ones are ( like the ones KarlosG installed in his car). This means that they are xenon compatible from what i understand. One thing i couldn't understand from previous topics is whether the beam auto adjustment feature is something that is installed on the car or on the OEM headlights? If it is installed on the car will the particular headlights be able to make use of it? Edit: CJ10JEEPER Confirmed that the auto adjustment mechanism is inside the headlight.
I have seen that 2 members from this forum have installed this particular headlight. What can you tell me about it? Is it misting at all? Are you happy with your purchase? Any error poped on your dash after installation? Are you using Halogen bulbs or you installed aftermarket HID kits?
The height adjustment switch from inside the cabin ( the one on the picture ) is still usable after the installation?
Sorry for the long post. Drive safe!
Regards
