Sorry the blue is a ring not a spade. Any idea where that goes? Are you saying your ballast looks different as well.

No instructions! Just a few vague quidelines on the back of the box.

Sorry to be a pita. Is this not the same as yours. I bought the same one as your link allegedly.

Same item on their site but they have changed the photos that match yours. So they are definitely different. I would imagine the same end result if you can find where the blue wire goes

Allegedly mine is the upgraded grounded version. The blue wire is an earth which apparently makes it safer. I get the impression that you can get anything in your box.

Ill be prepared for a headlight fire then with mine in future from the sounds of it if there now supplying fixed earthing wires LOL Jezzuz!

It probably a safety thing as the ballast can operate at up to 33000 volts. So probably making sure if you touch it you won’t get the lion share of it
