H7 Terminator 35w HID XENON CONVERSION KIT CANBUS ERROR FREE

With the light being blue it does not reflect off most surfaces so you can not see very well. When it hits a light surface great. And they look great too.

Someone on here recommended 4300 because of this but I thought I knew better. Based on his findings I have now taken that advice 😩

I’m waiting for their arrival. I also went with 35W as they same guy said keep clear of 55w in case of damage to the projector lense. I don’t fancy replacing thatπŸ™ƒ

whats the differnece bewteen h7 and h7r? I have standard halogen lenses and have ordered H7 which i think shoudl have been H7R,ive emailed the company but have yet to get a response, just want better light output!

If you have the projector lens which the Z4 does then you need H7. The H7R is for traditional reflector lights without a projector to focus the beam. The H7R does the job instead

Ah ive ordered the wrong ones then, it wasnt very clear on the website , I will wait for them to arrive and return and get the correct ones or i could just try them and see

These came today, just waiting bulb holders :)

H7 5k 35W, IMO 4300k are too yellow and the 5k across the board of bulb wizards say this is the color for the most optimum light output, forget your 8k/10k bulbs useless and waaaaay to blue.

5k you will get a color most seen on modern cars with Xenon headlights. The more bluey headlights seen are most likely LED units.

I also run LED bulbs in my 2018 Vw polo, exactly the same color as the OEM LED headlights seen today and much better output than halogens.

This is my beam pattern and output using LED bulbs only.

Have a read of this thread. This is where I took my advice from.

what LEDS are those. They may be great as high beams

So today I removed my lights as the were full of water. I also put in my new 4300k hids. Top tip with this particular brand is make sure the return wire is on the bottom. If not you will get two shadows and not an effective output. This involved flatting the tab locator on the retaining clip so it can be rotated 180 degrees. I also took out the projector lenses to clean them. The result is amazing.

I also swapped the cover seals over left to right so I can reverse them as mine were flattened and letting in water. Now they sit proud and make a good seal. Time will tell and then it’s new covers.

Hi,

When you say the result is amazing do you mean the just after cleaning the projectors or the 4300 bulb vs the 5000 or both .

Thanks

The colour of the 4300k is by far better for seeing at night and still looks OEM white so no yellow tint. Equally not a hint of blue.

Cleaning them was to remove all traces of water marks and yes it is much better.

So I would say a combination of both and now having the bulbs the correct way round

Here is the result. I still need to refit the number so the front is still jacked up if you wondering why the beam is so high

The hardest bit was taking the bumper off where it connects the front edge of the wing without breaking the plastic clips as it’s cold and brittle. Other than that just a cup of tea at the table. To remove the projector there are four small bolts. I’m sure they were 6 or 7 mm

I know a guy that isn`t too far away from me so I will just pop round if I have any problems  I think this is the same kit from the same seller on Ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-HID-XENON-CONVERSION-SLIM-KIT-H7-35w-4300K-6000K-8000K-10k-CANBUS-ERROR-FREE/261304405707

The ballast looks different to the kit I got. Probably all the same just branded different πŸ€”πŸ’

What I will say is the suppler I linked were next day if ordered before 3pm and they were. Spot onπŸ‘

These are them, they are no bigger than a normal H7 Bulb so they will fit in any housing that accommodates these.

I have them in dip and main and can't moan to be honest. Lasted a while now, I also will run these with my HID kit.

Had a chance to get some photos and drive at night. 4300k what an improvement πŸ‘πŸ‘

I can actually seeπŸ˜€
