Have another look, its British, fitted with the fabulous Meadows straight 6 and the company still makes cars although very sporty ones these days.

Presumably that 'K' plate was because it was an import? Looks a bit sad after that bump

Yes - I was given the car by an aunt in Germany, all I had to do was go & collect it, get it registered etc...

The bump knocked out quite easily & the headlamps were exactly the same as a VW beetle - so it was fixed (after a fashion) within a week.

This was a long time ago.
