So job two today was to fit the GruppeM that had been in my boot for the last 5 months

Job 1 was http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=76050

It was an easy enough job, although the instructions did not help and I'm surprised CA haven't bothered to write some up that would make life a bit easier.

I've taken a couple of videos with the dashcam, but I don't think you can hear the difference as well as you can in real life. I will try and do the post one again on the same bit of road as the pre but that will be in a few weeks. However I recorded the post video slowing down into second and pulling away to try and get it the same as the pre video.

I also have tried what exdos suggested with the torque app on my phone both pre and post fitting, but due to the roads and conditions had to do this from 2k in third. I will have a look and if I'm not sure how to analysis then will ask exdos if he can do it for me.

Nice upgrade , i fitted a Carbon Dynamic Airbox to my V6 TT & pick up from 0-40 noticebly sharper & a nicer inductiion "suck" than stock ,
when you know your own car the differences are noticeable but sometimes not always conveyed through a vid clip
If at all disappointed with the Gruppe maybe sell it on

The videos are poor I think. Will let the folk on the meet decide next week if it sounds better or not.

Sounds good. I'd forgotten how much the ///M on stock suspension lifts its nose under hard acceleration

If you'd like to let me have the before and after logs I'd be happy to analyse them for you.
If you save the files as multipoint .csv that's the most useful format.

Yep in csv format. Will get them over to you in the nest day or so. Need to get the start point equal is so you know what yo compare I guess.

Nice, I wasn't blown away with my GruppeM after first fitting it, but now a few months on I love it....it's just the right amount of angry noise for me.
