If that's the case,although its gruppem Japan selling it,stock may be coming from Germany/Europe,as some companies,clothing etc based in Germany or other parts of Europe are stating delivery from 23rd December,2020, to 7th February 2021,to UK and N.I is suspended, due to ongoing Brexit issues!!
So that could be the reason for despatched on 9th February??

I pulled the trigger and, barring an order confirmation mail, I've not received anything else yet. I dropped them a mail earlier in the week, and still waiting on a reply. They were swift to respond to queries before the 31st though, so perhaps they're just returning from holidays now.

I think one of the members further up this thread mentioned something about a communication received about an February delivery date though?

Most excellent, good for you! (Did they write down the value of it by any chance?)

Just got word that mine is due for dispatch on Feb 16th, so likely arriving at the end of the month. Would be chuffed if I have a similar experience with customs (although I suspect not).

From past experience, you’ll get an invoice through the post from the courier company in the next few weeks.

I got an email from GruppeM this morning saying mine was delayed until March but I could pay 25,000yen to have it sent priority. That’s £170 so I’ll think I’ll wait!

I received a similar line, although it was for 20,000 yen (can't see why there'd be ~5,000 yen difference in sending to UK vs Ireland, but there you go). Car is currently SORN, so I've no issue waiting either.

Interested to see if/how this plays out. Hopefully you managed to avoid it.
 
Mine arrived yesterday just 2 weeks after it was dispatched (despite them trying to sell me priority shipment at £172 under the threat of a 2 month delivery timeline!). No customs charge yet, expect this in the post soon. Now just to fit it :D
 
It's on its way today!

Gotta admit, they anticipation of its arrival is marred somewhat by the fear of the customs bill that's likely to accompany it. No turning back now though.

I would have jumped at this at the time,had my car not started needing some fairly serious money spent on it :cry:
