GruppeM 35% off until 31/12

For all who missed out, I got in contact with GruppeM directly to see if there was any kind of forum discount they would be willing to set up, seeing as their system is particularly popular with z4 enthusiasts.

They agreed to give us a 25% discount but just ironing out getting a code from them that works. Not quite the good Christmas deal (which I regret missing out on now!) but it’s still something!

Arrived yesterday, and looks glorious!

No sign of any customs charges, which has me more nervous now, than before it arrived

still a worthwhile discount

Now installed!

Sounds different, from 2.8k you can hear (IMO) a deeper growl, and a little louder in the cabin.

The oem instructions are a bit naff. But this is good:

I'll add some photos after I have done the rear shocks!

Smiles per gallon yes, (maybe placebo) but feel keener to rev.

But objectively it just sounds ace! and looks ace. Also in my" man math mind" if it was 40% I can sell it in the future and it will be cost neutral!

Few tips!

Twist 90 deg and pull out, I didn't an snapped it. The top most rear clip.

I struggled with the metal disk and spacers, but the guide https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1221974 makes sense.
Screws B and C Middle and longest are used to attach / sandwich the plate and grate to the new shroud, and will be on a wonk not flush.

How are you all getting along with your GruppeM's a couple of months on?? Did any of you get away without paying customs charges?

No custom charges so that was a bonus. The sound is great, and I would describe the driving feeling as having a half sport button engaged if that makes sense. Only minor downside I've noticed is that it is not as smooth at minimal throttle input, a bit jerky, but I can live with that.

Hi barnyg did this ever get anywhere? If so do you mind sharing the discount code?

Ok so emailed gruppeM just in case barnyg didn’t see this for a while and they’ve come back with this (see photo).

I’ve seen a few people say they’re gutted they missed it, so hopefully we can make this happen again. Doing a separate post where we can start a list and keep track of numbers but they’ve only given us until the end of may so time is short.
