Some people have found significant bearing shell wear at 50k miles and others have failed at far less than 90-100k. I swapped mine at 50k and they were fine but I’ll swap them again at 100k miles. The financial consequences of spinning a shell far outweigh the cost of changing them.
As for an induction kit, it’s well worth the money - it was one of the first modifications I made to my Zed.

Ye but your car is used a lot harder than the majority of cars. Most are just weekenders.
