My UPS status has gone from 'Out for delivery' to 'Estimate delivery Monday 12-01-2014'.
So you've had it for over ten months? :P
Bloody US formats. I had to read it a couple of times to make sure it wasn't a time rather than a date.

I was working from home yesterday, and at home this weekend. There won't be anyone here next week to sign for it so I'll have to hope UPS decide to leave it at one of the neighbour's.

Couldn't even get the 'before' sound/video clip done either as the sodding Sandisk SDXC card has died (common problem from what I've read recently). It's only 6 months old, so Sandisk should just replace it, but I don't know how long that will take.

So everyone in the first batch has arrived.

If anyone does the install on their own please let me know how it goes?
I might give mine ago!

Honestly do it, save yourself some dough! It's straight forward once you've had a look at all the parts to go on/come off, and there's not many :)

Should be straight forward. Only tip I'd give is when removing the lower part of the original airbox you need to give it a good tug. I warmed the rubbers up slightly with a heat gun to help soften them and as its winter now, the plastic is likely to be more prone to snapping (discovered the hard way on another car) so this might be of extra benefit.

Is there a decent video that shows you how?

Not that I'm aware of, I looked when I went to fit mine. But put an hour or two aside with some basic tools and you'll be fine, just follow the pictures with instructions. Once you've done it you'll realise how 'meccano' like it is, there's very little you can do wrong. Just make sure everythings back together tight and MAF plugged back in. I went on to take the whole intake side of the car apart and give it a good clean, you realise that it's pretty unscrewupable when you put a bit of patience and time in

these things are that easy to fit you MUST diy it and ENJOY it. don't pay someone else to rush it when you can take your time and enjoy the install,.

Think I will take my car to a friends and work on it in his work shop... I remember working on my bike outside in the winter and not enjoying it one bit.... I don't have a garage

Mine was fitted today.... WOW!

The only downer is you wanna drive like a loon! The best mod on the car so far!

Mine arrived on Monday, just got home from work in London and it's too dark/cold to fit mine. Can't do it tomorrow either as I'm out at 6:30am for a track day at Oulton Park (with a yellow warning for ice).

Really wanted to show it off test it out at Oulton Park

You will be impressed!

I'd love to have a go at fitting it myself, but I'm not the most mechanical minded chap....could I do some real damage if I F it up?
