Group Buys- Gruppe - Brakes - Rogue- Vibratech

I'd love to have a go at fitting it myself, but I'm not the most mechanical minded chap....could I do some real damage if I F it up?

If the torque band isn't set correctly the car will be ported back to 1977 and the dawn of Aquarium..

Mine arrived today

I think I'd regret passing on this 6 months down the line. Could I jump on this please?

some install instructions here

Superb, thanks Ian. Owe you a PM.

Installed mine today! Well I drove it to a garage who did it for me. £66 lighter! So my initial thoughts are that it's not as loud as I expected! It does sound good though and at around 4500RPM it makes a lovely growl. It was a bit too wet tonight to take it for a proper drive. I had the windows down slightly and I can hear the difference out side the car. Pretty happy with the results.

Seriously?? Not as loud as you expected, what did you have in mind, a Loin's roar! Do you have a custom exhaust?

I can only say that mine has improved the sound quality and as you said around 45000RPM.

Interesting Ian but fine by me. 3.2 is always going to sound better than my current 1.8T!

I had an induction kit on my S2000, the difference was huge. It sounded bananas on full chat and added lots of base when in a low gear and throttle wide open. I would say the noise increase was 4 times standard engine levels.

So to compare the two, this is more subtle, it improves the sound of the car for sure. I need to go for a proper drive. Im still pleased with the overall results and would say it is twice as loud and is a nice match to the exhaust. It's been said before but this is how the Z should have come out the factory!

Would you say the improvement for the S2000 was due to the engine note only really kicks in at Vtech and its engine note is dull before Vtech? That was my experience with the S2000 - nothing until Vtech. Btw - i had to get a M as the S2000 was so good it left a lasting impression that the standard Z couldn't match.

Same reason I got my M!

So today was nice and dry and went out for a spirted drive. Maybe on wet roads there was a bit more road noise and I was a bit quick to judge the noise level. It really picks up at 3500rpm and adds a lovely note to the cabin. I would love a drive by but my wife won't use wide open throttle!
