Group Buys- Gruppe - Brakes - Rogue- Vibratech

The cheapest place in the country for these sells them for £778 + £14 postage.

Our price is £645 and £14 postage.

So it looks like all the Gruppe M induction kits have names!

The next thing I will organise is Brake Disks.

I have an advisory for rear Disks on the MOT.

Anyone interested in a groupy on them?

Are we looking at OEM or another option? Also, is there any appetite for a potential group buy for some of the carbon fibre interior trim...?

I was going to replace with OEM discs which I heard are pretty good. If I upgrade the calipers it will be for the porsche Boxster S calipers as they look great and are pretty cheap.

Which carbon trim are you thinking? I was thinking steering wheel inserts as they go tatty after time

Do all the porsche boxster S calipers fit and work without too much adjustment....986,987...? Would 996 0r 997 ones work too? Also, if they are Brembo ones, would say a Brembo set from a Seat work too..?

Sweet, so it looks like there are a few options then. So, for £1500 you should be able to get a decent refurbed set of 911 brakes all round.....is that better than a brand new set of 'cheaper' brand of brakes?

Also, has anyone ever done the caliper cover set thing before...do they look half decent?

''Also, has anyone ever done the caliper cover set thing before...do they look half decent?''

This is as bad as sticking an M\\\ Badge on a none M car.

Do it right the first time.

Future Gruppe M owners.

Been in contact with Roy and they have not landed yet. First lot still on their way from Japam.

If they've left Japan, I assume he's got a tracking number. It should only be a few days from dispatch to delivery, and another couple of days to get to the customer - so a week in total?

I hope this isn't going to be a '2-4 week delivery' that turns into '6-12 month delivery' that I've had from other suppliers

I won't hold my breath yet

Hopefully next week then, alothugh mine will just sit in a box until March :(

If you're not in a hurry for yours would you mind taking yours from the 2nd shipment? I can then get mine installed next week!

I'll try to get some 'before' video done this weekend, and then some 'after' videos once I've fitted the Gruppe-M sometime before Christmas.

Won't be a very good guide for those without an aftermarket exhaust though - but I will try to do separate front & rear videos to show the difference (and try to stop the GoPro from auto-levelling the sound).

If it's anything like the Simota for noise levels, then I'll only hear it for about the first 1/4 throttle or 1000 revs before all hell breaks loose from the rear :P
