Hi All,

I contacted Vibratech and they were not willing to offer a group buy but did say to give C&R Enterprise a call.

Spoke to C&R and a Group Buy price for 5 pairs of engine mounts is £198.98 inc Vat and postage. If we get more the price will be reduced further. This group buy on these would have to go through me as they require one payment / transaction. I therefore would need your money up front! Also while changing these mounts it is a good idea to replace the engine bracket bolts... BMW offered a replacement Bolt with a higher tensile rating.. Budget around £10 for these replacement bolts.

Just doing a little bay trawl at 'work' and came across the VT mounts at £115 for anyone interested.

Paid, seems like a nice Chap

Looking foward to receiving the bits.

Thanks for organising the group buy :)

I had discounted these from my Chrstmas list for now, but at that price - wow :o

I can feel inappropriate spend coming on at speed...

Hurry up and pay people! Only two so far contacted Roy.

Well done to:
Hops121
Jan Tekin.

Just looking at my engine mounts. Look wonderfully made. Shame I will probably never see them again.

Yup, he emailed me today and said he'd post them out. Thanks for sorting Ian

I've now spent £300 on my car in less than a month, time to rein(deer) things in a bit

Just off the phone to Roy. Unfortunately he's run out of the limiter kits, but I've gone for Rouge RTAB street version, no need to run the limiter kit with these... Won't be getting fitted until Jan time though :(

Thanks for organising

Got my limiters this morning. 4 circular plastic things - awesome

You can fit them at my place whilst you are holding the Golf engine up during the starter motor replacement

Whilst the ability to do these two things at once is of course well within my capabilities, having seen how little movement of the arms is required to knock the alignment out, I'll be getting some professionals to do these

This is the cheapest I can find them... When fitting the engine mounts, would the alignment need to be reset? Or would they not need to touch any of the suspension components?

Can't see why the suspension would be touched.
