Are your mirror covers being covered in CF or the black trim coming from the door?

Just wondering if they might be willing to scan yours in to their computer to make CF mirror covers if a load of us were interested.

The mirror covers are being covered, I hadn't thought about them using them as a mould but I'll ask. I did mention to him that others might be interested in something similar, ie. sending over anything to cover and he said he'd be happy to do that. I'm sure he'd be up for making some covers.

When I mentioned the mirrors he said he's up for receiving anything such as interior trim and cover them in CF as a kind of service so that's on the table. My mirrors were only picked up on Wednesday so I'll catch him now before they get to him and suggest making the covers.

Edit: Just another point on the mirrors, MStyle sell CF mirror surrounds which are just standard mirrors covered in carbon fiber for about £320 last time I checked. This cost me £35 to send then £110 to cover and return for the same thing.

I was also speaking to him about the mirror covers! I will have to see how they turn out, as mine are white if its just a clip on skin I reckon I would see the white edge around the mirror glass and it would drive me mad, would need to be full replacement I think :/

I think having them fully wrapped like me is the way to go, you won't see any white that way because it will be covered on the inside too. It doesn't seem he's too into making a clip on cover anyway :|

For anyone who might be interested in the carbon fiber laminating service that AGT Styling do as I'm doing with my mirrors, Antreas has sent me some photo's with examples of their work. This is real carbon fiber too, not that stuff you buy in the shops to wrap with. I'll post pics of my mirrors when I get them back.
