I find it bizarre people expect cupholders in a high performance orientated sports car, it`s for driving and having fun, not for drinking in .
I think the Z4 basic spec is about right although some purests/minimalists might prefer to not have aircon as standard to save a bit more weight.

As for the cupholders, I find it's handy to have somewhere to stick your bottle of water when you're doing 200 miles in one stint - the space in the doors isn't useful for anything other than storing pens, and the glovebox isn't even big enough for gloves.
I've got an Aux port on mine late 2006 / 56 plate. I'm guessing that it is an 07MY spec car. I think there were a few minor changes on the 07 car from looking at the specs on Parkers - does anyone have a definitive list?Wondermike said:Think you're too early for the aux point, I thought about an 07 plate as a minimum but could be wrong.
