Progress I think, on the Golf we had 5's on the front and 6's on the rear, I couldn't tell any real difference, however I'm sure that there improvements however slight they may be.

As long as it is predictable and it isn't snapping, then I would say it is okay. Are you running a square or staggered set up?MikeyH said:I have them on my E85 and really like them although I have noticed that I now have understeer going into a corner that turns into oversteer in the corner. Is this normal? :?

I have suspicions that when a refresh was done to the suspension the car had sport springs along with the bilstein B4s fitted as it has always looked a bit lower than other Se cars.B21 said:MikeyH said:I have them on my E85 and really like them although I have noticed that I now have understeer going into a corner that turns into oversteer in the corner. IMHO..that’s very odd on a stock BMW..either a geometry issue or something else…![]()

I'm betting he is just carrying to much speed into the corner and then gunning it :lol:B21 said:MikeyH said:I have suspicions that when a refresh was done to the suspension the car had sport springs along with the bilstein B4s fitted as it has always looked a bit lower than other Se cars.B21 said:IMHO..that’s very odd on a stock BMW..either a geometry issue or something else…![]()
Sudden oversteer is sometimes caused by rear toe out..in part due to worn bushes..there are many other possible causes..but that’s common on E85/E89

B21, I will get the alignment done soon and see if that helps, it might just be my imagination again, who knowsB21 said:MikeyH said:I have suspicions that when a refresh was done to the suspension the car had sport springs along with the bilstein B4s fitted as it has always looked a bit lower than other Se cars.B21 said:IMHO..that’s very odd on a stock BMW..either a geometry issue or something else…![]()

Not aloud, sars, the wife feels car sick if I do. I have however wondered if I am carrying too much speed into the corner because the new tyres ‘feel’ safer. And I don’t realise it. :?sars said:I'm betting he is just carrying to much speed into the corner and then gunning it :lol:B21 said:MikeyH said:I have suspicions that when a refresh was done to the suspension the car had sport springs along with the bilstein B4s fitted as it has always looked a bit lower than other Se cars.
