Good or bad ....

Booked a few hours of 911 driving this Friday, a PDK and a manual as I still think I could not live with an automatic really despite how hard they seem to push it.

I must be mad to even contemplate to spend 6 times the value of my M on a car which I use for less than 2k a year ...

This is getting serious.

Just tasting ... Never driven one, just want to know if it is something for me or not. Might hate it :D

Do you know which end is the back?

It's the end where bits of the engine will fall out at some point.

- I drove a 911 recently at a Porsche dealership and was not taken by it. It certainly did not seem worth the price tag (though i'm probably in the minority). New Cayman S was actually MUCH nicer.

:|

That is exactly the reason I want to drive one, it is all hearsay for me and at 65k for a Gen 2 997 Turbo or 85-90 for a 991 Carrera S it is a hell of a lot of money, and the M is pocket change value compared to that.

I suggested to Mrs PVR that I would need to build another garage to house it, but for some reason I received a short answer

srhutch - it is not the Boxster I am driving so no confusion :poke:

If I could I'd do it (but I'd have the Boxster).

...but I cant, so I wont!

Don't worry, just do what you allegedly did a few months ago to house two of your company cars, get your company to pay all tax deductible of course

So PVR's car is coming up for sale...

Looks like I may have a nice choice...

Good luck with the test drives  I think you already know you need to avoid the Auto!!! :P

Looking forward to a pending shiny shiny moment :D

It is just a taster session, I might hate it :D

Seems to be a marmite car, some really don't like driving it so I would have to be very sure to change the M. Especially as my M is probably one of the best about as a true single owner without a single swirl mark thanks to its coating.
