Going to Rome...

Moffmo, thanks - great advice, and fantastic that you have stayed in the hotel we are going to. I am now even more reassured. We have not upgraded - mainly because Wee Bing will be sharing our room, and the last person I want a bubbly bath with is him :lol:

Take your point about restaurants - roger that :thumbsup:

I think we now have as much of a plan as I want to have - with some great recommendations for places to visit, so thanks for that everyone. I love this forum 8)
 
I forgot to mention too! If you are getting up silly early for whatever reason (I went to see the pope and we had to be up at like 7am). The hotel will make you a breakfast to go free of charge. Its basically a lunchbox but with breakfast! (assuming you have BandB)
 
That's very cool. The Pope is a bit busy and can't see us this weekend, but apparently we need to be at St Peters early if we are to get up the top before the crush. Packed breakfast, ace :D
