So long as it’s sensible, will be fine. 15miles ish seems sensible to me. 50+ miles and that’s pushing it IMO.
Say it out load, “so you drove 15miles to do a few hours exercise?” Or “so you drove 60miles for a few hours exercise?”

Please remember Wales is still on "essential travel only", ie CLOSED. The boys in blue are stopping and sending home lots of cars, lots car parks are closed and lots of garages, and food shops only open odd hours. l am Lucky l live in snowdonia, and its a 13 mile drive to my nearest shop,...lol
Scotland, Wales and the occupied counties in Ireland have a different approach.
Heard that Police Scotland said they will start policing the border to turn anyone away that isn't travelling due to essential travel if the approach to the pandemic is different south of the border.

Thats interesting...wonder if they will do that in Wales. We're literally 2 miles from the English border so I for one will be out in my Zed heading back to England.
If the Welsh rossers try and stop me I think 2 miles is an acceptable distance for essentials and then once back in England new rules apply!!
Nobody seems to do any policing in PA (Pennsylvania) or Ohio which I am 11 miles from. I've driven when and where I have wanted to since this whole thing started but with most places closed there really isn't anywhere to go other than just drive for the sake of driving (which I have done a few times). I do go visit my 92 YO mother often and have tried several times to get her out of the house for some time in the Z but she hasn't really wanted to. I don't want her going out on her own so I've been doing her grocery shopping and errands.
Actually lots of people over here are getting really pissed at the over reaching control of state governments and governors. Our governor is getting sued by 4 counties and several other counties have had their officials declare that they will not enforce any of these gubernatorial edicts or cite any stores or eating establishments that decide they want to open irrespective of what the State says they should do.
There have been many protests. I think our governments over here are taking advantage of the situation to grab power and control. And, no matter what you think of Americans, many of us just won't put up with that crap for too long and I think the powers that be are starting to see and feel that. People WILL remember when reelection time rolls around. I think lots of power hungry Pols will be looking for jobs pretty soon.

Nothing much has changed from what I heard. It would be nice to get the Zed out though. Longest time it's ever spent in the garage by some weeks. 
I drove my sons Mx5 to Tesco yesterday and stuck some air in the almost flat 18 PSI tyres.
Not been there since lock down 103 per ltr for petrol 
. So I was back there 08:00 AM this morning in the daily and filled up. :wink:
