GM5 or not??

I’m hoping someone can offer some insight into the following problems. The car is a 2003 rhd Z4 e85 3.0i has been without any power for (I guess) about 3-4 months and has just had a new battery fitted.

1) No central locking inc doors/filler cap/ central compartment etc
2) No window operation up or down.
3) No wipers/screen wash. But the screen wash intermittently starts running by itself.

Checked fuses 9, 10, 11, 12 no issues. Suspect GM5 - although can’t see it being a relay issue, unless they’ve all gone simultaneously 🤷🏻‍♂️

Diagnostics show no errors, apart from ones I already knew about (wheel sensors and airbag wiring problem).

Opinions? Still likely to be GM5 or something else??

The problem s that you have (had) multiple issues. It could be one or more of the following,
Battery voltage low, either due to the battery, earthing or connections - get busy with a voltmeter and check connections/earths.
Transport mode kicked in - clear with software.
GM5 - can randomly affect locking, wipers etc - get GM5 refurbished, it's cheap and easy to re-fit.
Re-check fuses AND cleanliness and security of their fitting. Fuse 10 is the likely culprit.
Get some switch cleaning spray and unhitch and clean connectors on fuse boxes and modules.

Good luck and let us know how you get on
