Giving Thanks..

Was just taking a walk around my property this afternoon and took a few pictures. Nothing special, but it's mine and it's beautiful. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, thought I would stop and give thanks for what I have. Enjoy, it's as peaceful as it looks, and I'm very thankful for my family and friends whom I can share this with

I did that when I walked around my high-rise apartment (Chicago) sometime back and gave thanks to Mr. Otis for his wonderful invention. I lived on the 23rd floor facing Lake Michigan off the north edge of Lincoln Park.

Thanks Aebous! I've had many offers on my old, large hardwoods but some things just aren't worth it. You can't buy these old trees anymore. I'd rather be poorer because of not selling then richer and not have them ....can't put on a price on this kind of beauty.

So, seeing as this is almost Thanksgiving Day and FNI started this nice thread.....what is everyone thankful for?

Personally, i'm thankful for health, a great job and living in a great area, the zforum gang. AND SUPER thankful for my daughter, trying at times, but has impacted my life immensely. She's in town, so off to see her now and I can't wait to squish her but good.
