Well the week ended on a high note for us . Our son got his plumbing job & the pay is twice what he was getting when he jacked his last job so 
. He went for the interview wednesday at 1-30pm & started 8am thursday 
they must have really needed a plumber 
As for the above post RE the rigs ? is it something that a 21 yr old plumber could apply for ? He is enthusiastic & ready for a challenge

The guys that do turbine control software certainly make a not so small fortune. I wish I could get their daily rate.

Just wanted to add Drilling systems automation the the list.
Drilling Rigs have been tansitioning from manual operation to full automation over the last 10 years .... software that drives it all is still in full blown development ...
