It will be algae or lichen. Any proprietory soft top cleaner should kill it.Surely the green is algae and can be washed off?
The problem I found with any dye is that it goes on with a brush, or cloth, so you always go over a lot of it twice but not all. Then, of course, you will get darker and lighter 'patches'.I'm interested in recommendations as well. Treated mine with Renovo cleaner a few weeks ago (I've also used a Milton steriliser fluid mixture to good effect previously), and it looks a lot better, especially when wet.
When dry and in bright conditions it definitely looks like it would benefit from a dye process, especially at the leading edge where it meets the windscreen
The anthracite roof looks very cool. The fold marks are a peril of any soft top. I don’t think there is away to avoid that. The issue I have is with the First Editions, Frozen Orange cars, the roof is an anthracite color, and shows the fold marks quite a lot.
Itd be great if I could find a way of removing / hiding these fold marks...
Yes, with Miltons steriliser from BootsSurely the green is algae and can be washed off?
Watch out for cats, someone on here had a problem with them sleeping on his roof under the car port and digging its claws into the fabric.I don't like to leave any soft top continuously wet in winter so mine is under the car port which keeps the worst of the sun off too, we use it year round.
We dont do cats, mice are a bigger threat chewing wiring.Watch out for cats, someone on here had a problem with them sleeping on his roof under the car port and digging its claws into the fabric.![]()
