Hi does anyone have any experience with dying the roof black? Does it help remove the very slightest of green (even after good quality detailing) and jet wash marks - Used Berrys BMW!! - car 2020 30i 23700miles

I didn't think much to Renovo roof dye. Too easy to get 'patches' and it is basically watered-down paint, just more expensive.
If the roof is in good nick otherwise, get some specific soft-top cleaner then some protector.

Mine isn't a G29, but a soft top is a soft top.

I'm interested in recommendations as well. Treated mine with Renovo cleaner a few weeks ago (I've also used a Milton steriliser fluid mixture to good effect previously), and it looks a lot better, especially when wet.

When dry and in bright conditions it definitely looks like it would benefit from a dye process, especially at the leading edge where it meets the windscreen

The problem I found with any dye is that it goes on with a brush, or cloth, so you always go over a lot of it twice but not all. Then, of course, you will get darker and lighter 'patches'.
If it could be sprayed from a paint gun, it could potentially work better, but not sure if that is practical.
