Argyll Andy said:enuff_zed said:[ref]Stevo1987[/ref], bear in mind if you buy the Jaaag then you need to budget extra for an England Rugby shirt, a lightweight jumper to drape around your neck, and elocution lessons so you can say 'Hurrah!' loudly in a suitable Hugh Laurie-esque voice.![]()
That’s pretty much why Kathleen says we’ll never get one (minus the England shirt of course) Every time I bring it up she says “No, it’s an old mans car”
My personal opinion of them is boot is tiny for us as we don’t travel light and interior finishing wasn’t great on the couple I did look at, on my own![]()
I also had a hankering for the (RHD) V8 5L Mustang until I looked at one. They make Jag (and Dacia) build quality look positively regal. Typical American; great engines surrounded by utter dross. :roll:Mr Tidy said:But then I also have a bit of a hankering for a V8 Mustang as well! Which would certainly be a bit different.
With me being a bit of a Ford fanboy I think that I could live with that though, and like Mr Tidy I would absolutely love to tick the 5.0 V8 Mustang box one day for sure. 8)Pondrew said:I also had a hankering for the (RHD) V8 5L Mustang until I looked at one. The Porkers are good in residuals these days, especially things like Gt4 and gts cars....Pondrew said:Cayman or Boxster any day over an F-type, or a G29 (as you've already got a Z4). I've read countless stories on the web regarding how terrible the Jag's build quality and reliability are.
Porkers are pretty depreciation-proof too!![]()
It’s a shame we didn’t get the GT350, now that would be the Mustang I’d want to ownPondrew said:I also had a hankering for the (RHD) V8 5L Mustang until I looked at one. Interesting enough I have never met anyone with a Porsche who actually had an issue, perhaps that is similar to M engine issues that are always mentioned on non BMW forums
