Yes, I'm hoping he's not going to be his normal ball of smugness...

Not sure about them keeping the Stig though - if it's supposed to be a new version/reboot of Top Gear, the Stig ties it firmly to the Clarkson/Hammond/May era...
 
Decent line up - had to move away from the 3 presenter show. It was pretty obvious Chris Harris was in it he posted last week that he was winding down Chris Harris on Cars films.
 
I don't see this line up working for me at all.. Get rid of Eddie, Evans & LeBlanc and I'd be happy!

Having said that, I hadn't heard of this Rory Reid chap, so I watched a video the papers have been using from YouTube..

After some further digging around on YT, I can assure you, he doesn't normally do car reviews like this and his other videos are really quite enjoyable and err... normal! :lol:
 
Not impressed by this, too many presenters and I think it will make the show messy and disjointed. Funny how people used to moan about Clarkson's wages, yet the three old presenters are replaced by double the amount....

I would rather Chris Harris carried on making his films on youtube. I think Sabine is a bit 'old news' as well.
 
I don't mind Evans to be fair, he's one of the better things on radio in the morning at the moment. Not sure about Eddie Jordan, he can be a little annoying so not sure what he will add. You can see how the others will fit in though. Harris to do the serious reviews, shmidt for her driving prowess, Rory to review the everyday drivers cars (focus/astra etc), stig to set times, and the rest for dicking about on motorbikes or building amphibious cars.
 
It's all interesting - let's give them a chance first before writing any of them off . . .

A little like when Tom Jones was unceremoniously removed from the voice but Boy George has been excellent . . . . you never know :lol:
 
Good to see that cost savings are being put in place across all departments of the BBC including this resurrected wankfest that I'll not be watching.

Cannot stand Evans.

I find it funny how a woman can become more appealing just because she can drive. Sabine isn't really that fit but you just would. A bit like Vicky Butler Henderson, she's a munter but you still would as she can handle herself in a car :wink: :D

well no not really.........shes just more appealing than Chris Evans or any other bloke although I would'nt mind "doing" Evans with the rough end of a pineapple :lol:

Think I'm in the minority but I'm looking forward to it. Decent line up with some proper petrol heads. Feel like people want to write it off before it starts.

Feel like people forget why Clarkson lost the job. I was a big fan of his but after what happened he had to go. A bit of change is good.

I hope it's good and that they don't try and change Chris Harris style of of reviewing really enjoy his you tube stuff.
 
Not over keen on Evans,
would not have had Jordan and the Stig.
Four would have been plenty but BBC likes to spend the License fee payers money on overpaid presenters.
 
I am looking forward to the new series and how it is all going to fit together. I used to love Top Gear and still subscribe to the mag but was really getting fed up with Clarkson and Co who gradually over a period of years had turned it from a car show with a bit of comedy into a show of dicking about with the odd car thrown in.

Ps (mag is still okay but was never about the TV presenters)
