Mmm - have you really only done 500 miles in it since last June? Lovely looking car.
No, it's done a bit more than that, as it's now on 37,500 miles and had it's last oil service at BMW done on 35,408 in September (2010).

About 2,000 miles in 5 months - which is about the same I was doing every month when I was working away from home.

Normally I'd be using it for everything from commuting to shopping, but I've only been using it for the longer runs as I don't like starting it up if it's not going to get properly warmed up. Most of the work I've had over the last year has either been from home, or in London where I don't take the car anyway.

If there's confusion about the mileage, then let me know as it probably means I've messed up an advert somewhere

Pictures look much better   The article in this months Evo should help as well.
Thanks.
Hopefully the EVO article won't be claiming that they're available for £10k - otherwise I'll be having a moan at Mr Dennis (yes, I know exactly where he lives & what cars he keeps there) :headbang:

They already have a buying guide on their website from November 2009, so I assume this is a proper one with info on what to look out for wrt problems/issues, as the website one is just a short bit of copy. There's also a video of one at Cadwell vs a RB320 Impreza.

No the article in this month discusses cars that you can run for 12 months and not lose any money. The Z4M coupe makes it into the top 8 along with 996 Turbo S, DB9 to name a couple.

It's not the best article tbh.

Mentions a lack of chassis stiffness, yet the Z4M Coupe has one of the stiffest chassis going, just one of many errors in a fairly inept piece of motoring journalism

What's the exact edition date/number as I'll have to buy it and pass my observations on to the owner of Evo then (via one of his personal marketing managers who I'm friends with).

I saw that too, their online buying guide is full of misinformation as well. The future-classics article is in this month's evo mag if you wanted to see it.

Any interest yet? This looks increasingly like a bargain to me
A few calls, a couple of views arranged, but no-one's actually bothered to turn up (but at least they've called to say they can't/won't be making it).

I'm working away from home for the next couple of months, so I'm glad it's not sold - otherwise I'd be driving that cheap Toyota Avensis I was looking at :P

I wonder how many people looking for a Ruby Black wouldn't know that though? Just a thought that might fool potential buyers...

I think the V5 for Ruby Black says "red".
Autotrader auto-fills the data with what it receives from the DVLA when you enter your reg number.

I was debating replacing the description with 'black', but then you'd get some smart-arse asking if it's had a colour change as their HPI check has said it's 'red'.

I was going to change it to black/red or red/black, but then thought that the AT system is so poor that it probably wouldn't show up if you were filtered by 'red' or 'black' or both, only if you were to filter by 'other'.

I have just changed it to black in any case.

I wonder if people of silver/grey cars have this problem, as some owners of grey cars insist they're silver, but I'm not sure what the V5 says.
