I see a few problems with this - firstly we all share the same passion, hence us being on this forum. Some of the vitriol I've read is unnecessary. That said, I do not understand what gain there was to posting a picture and comment like that, after there has been an alleged issue between a buyer and the seller. Whether Terry or Brad feels they are correct, seeing the animosity it has caused should highlight the need for others to tread carefully and respectfully.
Notwithstanding of who's in the right or wrong, if I was Terry - I'd have wanted to know if someone else was offering more, in decent timing. If you were aware that £600 hadn't been agreed then I see this as being sale unaccepted. If I was Brad - whilst business is business, I'd put yourself in Terry's shoes - would you like to have been treated in the manner it is alleged you have treated him with regards to communication? And Ben - if you have got yourself a good deal, well done. But having read the issues Terry had, it may have been better to celebrate a little more subtly; and to perhaps show some decoram. This shouldn't be a free pass for others to be abusive towards him however.
I don't think people just want to argue, I'd be disappointed if that was the case. By definition of a forum, people are exchanging their views. This has to be respected foremost. Name calling is for children at a playground, constructive dialogue always prevails. It's a shame this seems to have gone amiss.
