My offer is still £600 I can collect tomorrow but I can't get the full money from the cash machine in one go.. So would you take a instant bank transfer and half cash? Or I can get £300 a day out of the bank if you want cash I can do full on Sunday. Terry

P.S Will need your postcode & house number for the satnav

This was the complete convo i do not know at what point in this that I entered a contract of sale?

He didn't offer what I asked I didn't accept his offer of 600. The last of those messages was 1.13 am after I was in bed the next message I sent to him was around 11 the next day once I had got up and tried to get hold of my gf parents as when I got the message in the morning I thought I might accept but after finding out they were out for the day I decided against it.... At no point did I confirm this deal

thing is, that differs from what Terry says earlier.
you're also missing the bit where you tell terry what days you can do... as you yourself said you told him that..

Sorry if you felt you were being messed around Terry. But at no point did we agree a time I said to to you what days I would be able to do and the you sent messages back saying a time. By the time I got the chance to get on the net again and then speak to my gf parents they were out and I messaged you as soon I knew. So again I apologise, like I did in the text I sent.

maybe you're right - maybe there's a misunderstanding. I don't know, I wasn't party to any of it.

luckily, someone else stole the "im a dickhead" spotlight of this thread.

Sorry but unless cash has exchanged hands you have no rights over the item.
If someone had bid on something via eBay, should I refrain from bidding against them because they have showed interest. Hmm nah.

First come first serve.
When I sell anything, the first person to pay the funds get the item, until that point anyone can bid.

Doesn't take away from the fact that you're a twat (Ben) for posting the pics in this thread like you have done. Appreciate you apologised in the post that contained the pictures, but there's no need to rub Terry's nose in it - you could have just said nothing at all ; or you could have PM'd Terry to let him know out of politeness, or dare I say it, respect.

Brad's opinion counts for nothing either - the only thing he's used this forum for openly in the last two years is to try and sell a hard top, and he's obviously messed around two buyers before selling to Ben. I guess the positive out of it is he'll not be back.

perhaps you need to read the rules you must abide by when selling on this forum: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=32644

paying specific attention to:
You cannot make a higher offer to gazump after a deal has been agreed

You should only make an offer for an item when you have the funds to pay for it. The seller may agree to wait for payment but this should be discussed in the thread with the seller and they are entitled to refuse.

If a vendor reduces the price for a potential purchaser, that price becomes the new asking price for all. However, the item is reserved for that potential purchaser for 1 hour to accept that offer before others can buy it at the new price. (This is known as 'the one hour rule'.)

The first unconditional offer of the asking price secures the sale

Once a deal has been agreed or an unconditional asking price offer made, you may not withdraw from it without a very good reason. You will need to PM a moderator with an explanation but the moderators still reserve the right to impose a short trading ban.

if you don't agree to them, that's perfectly fine, but you're not entitled to sell here.
seems pretty straightforward to me?

Edited - done with this thread. Not worth anyone's time now, it's just providing the opportunity for more idiocy & cock behaviour. Should probably just be locked tbh...

The issue is that the rules require the negotiation to be public - which rarely happens. At which point the seller can play any games they want to, if that's their approach.

this is true..

I see these rules but when did I agree to Terry's price

Also, how can I gazump terry when he pulled out of the sale before I enquired about it?

It also states that only when the full asking price has been offered, does that secure the sale. I believe terry offered 600, which is way lee than the 800 quoted by the seller.

It seems you're trying to find any old excuse here.

I have a plan! You appear to live somewhere between 16 and 64 miles apart, which is nothing, so how about you share it...   :D

Seriously though, isn't life WAY too short to be getting so angry over something like this, irrespective of which side you sit? Shouldn't we be spending our time enjoying our zeds rather than chucking s**t at each other?

"It's only a game show..."

This is my last comment ever:

Ben g has it that's fine! I really done care who got it to be honest, the reason I'm unhappy is:

Why post a pic? This was clearly to p1ss me off and for no other reason or is ben g just a complete tool!

Good luck with your roof and where ever your life takes you.....

POST CLOSED!

I'd post a pic to show how good it looks on my car. I think he's only done the same.
Somehow don't think he thought to post it just to piss you off.
