FS: eBay: Z4 M Coupe Bonnet

The bonnet will fit both.
Bing, the rear wings are different btw, the roadster has a contour where the roof folds whereas the coupe is straight. I found this out as I nearly bought a coupe one.
 
I am quite handy with a big hammer I bet I could knock some of them dents out!!!

I really wanted one of these. But I doubt I could afford one. I think I am going to louver mine instead.
 
apparently the guy selling is the owner of a body repair shop, I wonder why he wouldn't fix it then sell it?
 
I just emailed the seller about providing a quote for repair, answer as follows..

"It can be repaired for around 250 but it needs fitting to check alignment of front edge of bonnet to bumper before repairing"

so presuming the bonnet sells for a cheap £100 + £250 for repairs and another £300 for painting that's a mighty £650

I'm out..

except you never see them on the road as they are locked up due to no petrol money, or mileage queens :evil:

think I've seen 3 Z4Ms in the past 3 years around Manchester :cry:
the rare mythological beast it is!

I'd have one in a heartbeart if they weren't £500 on tax and £££ service+ parts, plus I rarely get above 30 mph in Manchester anyway.

Well if he ain't breaking the car and he's getting rid of that bonnet, that says it all really, especially when he's a body repair guy. It would probably be easy to repair but I reckon it would be left with inconsistencies in the contour, i.e. you would probably notice wavy lines in the light reflecting on the bonnet where the repair has been done.

Actually if its an insurance repair then the owner of the car is probably being a pedantic arse (like most of you BMW owners are) and demanding new parts at greater expense to the insurance company (and therefore the rest of us through premium hikes) when the original parts could easily be filled to perfection.

P.S. I'm only upset with BMW owners because some A$$hole in a late model 3 series forced me off the road today while he was performing the most ridiculous blind overtake. Good job I was in my FIAT box otherwise there would have been 2 written off BMWs underneath a lorry.
