I can't get my jack underneath as the car is sitting too low, the lower control arm (from what i can see) hasn't snapped.

Last time I jacked mine up the suspension was so tight both wheels were almost off the ground. Could you jack up from the back, then block up at front enough to then get the jack or lift under?

Do something like this - maybe reverse slowly onto a block for the rear and jack up from there, or maybe you can get the front wheel on a brick to give you space ?

Would seem to be a broken spring, but I don't recall ever seeing a car with a broken spring dropped that low. I take it you've looked under the bonnet at the strut top mount ? I guess if that went it would punch up the bonnet, but worth checking.

I've put a small slab under the wheel so i could jack the car up, looks like the spring has snapped. how easy is it to change ?
Top mounts are fine, no cracks.

It's not difficult but you do need a good set of spring compressors and nerves of steel though :D

I did a front spring on my wive's KA on the drive.

I can't find a working vin decoder, is there another way of finding out what coil spring i have fitted ?

I would say m sport 3.0 is it pre facelift what year if it is try suplex on eBay they will be able to supply OEM quality springs for you

Yes I would definitely say m/sport suspension look for springs on eBay suplex ones are excellent and you can contact them via eBay to make sure they supply the correct springs if I were you I would change out both front springs good luck

If you can borrow a 2 ton jack, get it in position for the rear wheel or even in the rear jacking position near the diff, you can then support with wood, bricks or axle stands as applicable.

2 tons are affordable now so you need one anyway as no jack come with the Zeds am I right, anyone? GL!
