Front Brake Discs

Hey all,

Does anyone know if the front brake discs on the 3.0si (325x25) are "2 piece" and have the aluminium bell similar to the E46 M3 discs (325x28).

They look very similar and wonder if this is the case.

The standard discs (no.1) are one-piece steel.

I was about to ask if they would suit heavy track use, but since I know Liam uses the M3 versions of these I would say yes...

I got the m tech m3 ones and did my 1st track today. Performed great together with my new brembos

Ah very nice, how was it? Where did you go?

Personally I am no longer a fan of MTEC for track use. I fitted them front and rear to mine and after 3 track days they are warped (pretty badly at the front). Maybe I had a bad batch but if you're careful you may be able to avoid this with MTEC, but I don't like having to tiptoe on track.

The other option to above that I thought about it going for a set of 2 piece floating discs. Anyone know of any brands that come in 325x28mm or 325x25mm sizes?
