E86 Front brake discs (Pagid) only £13.49 at ECP

Folks,

I brought to you the rear brake discs for the E86 at around £8.50 before.

Now we have the front discs at £13.49 each :D

Bah humbug - foiled again.

These are showing with a similar discount on the .ie site, and as before, it lets me get all the way through the checkout flow, before crushing my excitement and telling me that they cannot be delivered. (collection was called out as unavailable from the start)

I then tried on the .com site from the above link, and it won't even let me put them in the basket.

The universe doesn't want me to have fresh brakes, I can sense it....

wow new discs all round for a crazy price, I managed to get the rear discs for £8.50 each on the offer, brake pads front and rear from halfords for a good deal and now this. Thank you :D
 
Need to get pads and sensors all round myself.....need to go hunting again!

What's kind of good price range for pads?

Surprised the E85 and E86 don’t share the same front disks… are the rears the same?
What a bargain for those fronts!!

Thanks for another great post chanlon1 - have ordered a set of front discs to match the rear discs from a few weeks back. Don't think I need them yet, but good to have in the parts bin for when the time comes :)

In the same boat as you now though, need to keep an eye out for a good deal on pads/sensors!

£13.49 Pagid 325mm suitable for 3.0Si e85 or e86
£8.29 Pagid 300mm suitable for 3.0i pre-LCI e85
£12.99 Bosch OEM (or £6.59 Eicher!) 286mm suitable for 2.5i etc.
£6.49 Pagid 280mm solid suitable for 2.5i rear

Bargains galore - not just for E86.

Mines a 2.2, so smaller discs (2.5 will be the same) :thumbsup:

mate that's a great result :thumbsup: , I don't think I've ever purchased discs so cheaply. I've spent more on a round of drinks than the cost of discs for the z4.
 
Any one any ideas what would be a good price vs normal on pads? Keeping my eye open for a good deal, but not sure what prices should be like.

Paddy - it could be a great opportunity to upgrade to 300s at the front as a bit of a project. Calipers and carriers are readily available from breakers, and not that expensive new if you’re ok with non-OEM. I’ve just taken my 3.0i up to 325mm (Si spec) and it’s great, although the Si calipers and carriers are harder to get hold of.

I got my pads (pagid) from halfords a few weeks ago, I think I paid £42 for front and back brake pads. Ecp and Gsf were upwards of double what I paid at the time of purchase.
