Found myself in Porsche this weekend

Not sure about the "991 large car" comment but more importantly they are lighter than the previous model, this is my 991S, sorry about the crappy pic

Yeah, not "fat heavy" big but physically large so not as easy to place on the fun roads up here which are quite tight and twisty. I guess it's all relative though. Compared to the current steer below, the 991 C4S felt big and all a bit too grown up for real pants on fire fun. The Cayman S just seemed to give more of this and unlike the GT3 you could use full throttle in gears beyond 2nd without having your face turned inside out.

So if you had 20-25k to spend Paza, which Porsche would it be?

Honestly before would have been a 997.1 S with aero kit all day long  them so much .....still do

But since getting a little more knowledge on them it would be a 996.2 Turbo all day long. Now 25k will get you a decent one, 20k ones are a bit of a potential money pit could sink 3/4k in repairs etc costs ,

The reason for a 996.2 Turbo is due to the fact that you would not have the worry of IMS or Bore scoring / cracked cylinders due to a different engine / same block maker as the gt3 ... its stll low numberS but still a concern and not having this to contend with would be a winner, that and I think there hold their value a lot better I reckon in the next 5/10 years these will start to creep back up in price being its the iconic 911 that and they go like stink! :driving:

997 CS with aero kit for £20-25k? That's good going I'd have one for that money.......

Yep 25k no probs for a C2s with aero kit , I was offered a black one a few months back for 24k, but as it was an 04 with 65k I was not interested. Tbh you could buy a non-aero for low 20's and get the front bumper spoiler and rear spoiler for well under 25k
