Forum Names...How..?

Toe-side
"Wakeboarding move: Approaching the wake from the boat with toes pointing into the wake".
Wakeboarding still a great passion but my body is starting to reject the abuse it inflicts

My name because this is the only forum I've been on and thought 'user name' was ' users name'

Otherwise I'd have been Red7, my favourite Shirt Number at Manchester United

I used to use this on the Rugby forums as i am a amateur coach. I could moan about coaches and referees and nobody had a skooby who it was.Nobody associates Marypoppins with rugby :D

My initials and a random number... Used to be my email in Uni and used as the username on their PC's so it's stayed with me.. Boring i know... At least my avatar is actually me! :)

My name's Colin and when living in Holland apparently I had a tendency to go through traffic lights on amber. :driving:

Friends and family called this doing a Half Colin and a Full Colin was going through on red, and they still use the term today.

Nice one

I was only ever called my real name by my Grandmother and seldom use it now except on formal or official documents.
I've always been known as "Terry" (but have been called various other things over the years)
In terms of forum names, when we got the Z3 in 2005 it was fashionable to be anonymous.
As the car was Titanium Silver, "Titan" was born.
My avatar shows Saturn with one of its moons of the same name.

I suppose I could follow the theme and change my name to "DeepSeaB" but to what purpose?
Besides, it's good fun when folk get me mixed up with that young upstart and usurper, my namesake TitanTim
Or perhaps Tim could go political and refer to himself as "2-Zeds" :fuelfire:

Cheers
Terry

Mine comes from when i was but a nipper at my friends house on a 56k internet connection with him trying to sigh my up to myspace or something even older and he just typed in Darknova lol! had loads of variations of this name over many forums lol

Cos several years ago I was invited to join a company just as they were making about 100 redundancies - half the work force.
A new work colleague called me it and it stuck
:tumbleweed:
'The Chosen One'

Zermatt Silver is the colour of my last two landies- the first one was a Discovery which was pretty common colour hence Zermatt Vulgaris on the Landy forums shortened to ZermattV here

I've used 'edd_jedi' as my username on forums etc for over a decade, mainly so that I don't have to remember a different one for every website I use

I'm a Star Wars nut if it's not obvious :D

Mines easy, my name is Steve well to my Mother Stephen, but to every one else Steve.

The converted bit is easy as well after many, many years of being a British Sports car enthusiast and owning lots of different British sports cars, from Triumph Spitfires, TR7’s, MG Midgets, MGB’s, MGBGT’s and more recently MGF’s and finally an MG TF and being an active member of the MG Owners club and MG car club, I finally succumbed and in doing so lost lots of friends when I bought a BMW Z4. I became a convert to the BMW experience, hence ‘Converted Steve’.

And I’m really not joking when I say I lost a lot of friends, the MG lot are a strange breed, take everything very seriously, I had friends who came to club meets in MG jackets, with MG hats, MG gloves, MG sun glasses, MG hoodies, MG socks, drank out of MG mugs or glasses, all a bit sad really

I got loads of stick on facebook when I posted pictures of the Z4.

I suppose it all really started when I completed my Indentured Apprenticeship at ‘Donald Healey Motors’ in the early 70’s and fell in love with two cars I have never owned the Healey 3000 and Austin Healey Sprite

Got to admit though, really should have tried a BMW years ago, absolutely love the Z4
