I will be interesting to see how the ride height cheat device affects Max’s qualifying and race performance now they have been told to remove it.

Rivals had alerted the FIA to a device in the Red Bull cockpit that they believed could be used to adjust the height of the front of the car's floor.

The concern of rival teams was that this could be used to make changes to the car's set-up between qualifying and races, when they are not allowed.

A Red Bull spokesperson told BBC Sport: "Yes, [the device] exists, although it is inaccessible once the car is fully assembled and ready to run.
"In the numerous correspondence we have with the FIA, this part came up and we have agreed a plan going forward."

So if the ride height isn’t allowed to be changed after qualifying and the device itself isn’t accessible once the car has been assembled then what’s the point in having it?

Hmmmm.

To adjust the ride height. When the car is not fully assembled perhaps. So many sceptics.

About time Max got some back from the stewards. Been getting away with it far too long.
He drives like I think his personality is;
A spoiled little brat who can't contemplate losing.

All Max has to do is sit one place behind Lando for the rest of the season and he'll still win it, so no need for his desperate moves at every corner.

Lawson needs to swap seat with Checco.

Mexico was very interesting for me....
It showed the flaws in some of the supposed 'top' drivers.
Leclerc can't deal with the pressure. Reminds me of Jenson Button. Great when everything is easy, but not so good when it gets lairy.
Norris is getting better but still not quite there. Almost, but not quite.
Russell still isn't as good at the thinking game as Lewis (despite the car being focused around him now).
Verstappen is a spoiled little brat who is only happy when he's a mile in front. He is a very good driver but the wrong attitude IMO. Probably why he does so well with RB, cos he is a 'mini me' of that twonk 'Mr Ginger Spice'.
Sainz is very good, but a little inconsistent. Drove very well this weekend.
Perez needs to retire. Yesterday. Still can't understand what hold he has over the team. He is going to single-handedly lose them the constructors' title (which is worth millions). I know he has big clout in South America, but has he got the Mexican cartels in his pocket?

That pretty much sums it up!

I really can't see why Perez is still at Red Bull, especially now both Ferrari and McLaren are ahead of them in the Constructors' Championship. :?

I believe he brings LOTS of Mexican sponsorship. I fully expected him to be sacked yesterday, after his local race.

Hmmmm.

Max has proved that he is good enough to win races without any cheat device as he takes P1 after starting P17 in Brazil.

Yep the brat done good & the team made good decisions. If only he could control his ego as well as his race car.

yep - thought brazil would have been a great opportunity for Norris to take the full 25 points out of Verstappens lead, but alas. an annoyingly good drive from Verstappen and good strategy calls from the team and he actually extends his lead.

i think this puts an end to whatever slim chance Norris had of the WDC this year, think max would have to retire from the next three grands prix while norris scores the maximum.

He did race well yesterday but also got very lucky with the pit stop / red flag.

Deserved the win and raced a clean race for a change.

lucky, or good prediction from the team that the race was going to be red flagged, either for rain or an incident.

Russell was super keen to stay out to maintain track position in the event of a red flag, but was called in by the team.

Agreed, it was a good team decision to leave him out.

Only the previous lap Max said he had nothing left in his tyres so RB would have had to bring him in soon (<4 laps)

Agree he was fortunate in one sense but you have to hand it to him, an incredible drive and overtakes

Yep, as much as it pains me to say it; dribbler drove a masterclass of a race yesterday. There is no doubting anymore that he is up there with the best; just wish he wasn't so loathsome.

Of course Perez drove like an amateur again....

Sadly I have to agree the brat and his team did a really good job yesterday, which is very bad news for Norris.

Perez was hopeless as usual and Hamilton looked second rate too.

Overall it's been a great season though because it has been so unpredictable.
