Thanks for this info Herminator, do you mind sharing how much it cost you to respray? It seems like a good opporunity as myself and HEADRAT can only be a matter of mins away from each other.

My respray cost £270, which was a good bit more than I expected but the guy did remove the wing and did a very good job. He even asked if I wanted the inside sprayed so that you couldn't tell it had been done, so I think he was the kind of guy that pays attention to detail (I declined him on the interior spray)

There haven't been many hardtops on ebay recently, you may want to try there. Although this time of year they don't tend to sell for as much, maybe with the recent short supply you may get more bidders than usual.
 
Just got the hardtop fantastic bit of kit does make a huge difference with road noise quality :thumbsup: Great person to buy off cheers James
