'tis a lovely car this, hope it goes to a good new home :D

good luck with the sale and subsequent search for the M srhutch

Good luck indeed and hands off my M :)

Get the process of plate transfer started now as it is a bit more then just a couple of weeks and it is really annoying when you have a buyer (speaking from experience ... (.

Indeed - the tricky thing can be that the replacement V5 can take up to 4 weeks to come through, and trying to sell a car without the V5 isn't going to be easy.

When i said on another post not to discount a 2.5si when deciding between a 3.0 amd 3.0 si.. i had your car in mind....looks a very good example..good luck..

Thanks

He does not know the secret handshake yet though ... 8)

Did you advertise the car elsewhere? Like Pistonheads etc? I sold my previous one in about 4 hours on Pistonheads.

I would go for facelift models (2.5si/3.0si), and ignore 3.0i pre-facelift.

Indeed it is

Has to be a roadster to appreciate the noise of the engine.

I really like white or Silver Grey Coupes though esp with CSL's

£40k and you can have mine

I would not go for a white roadster as you are planning to keep it a long time, and what I see is that we are getting to the end of the white era.

Don't think I have ever seen a white M Roadster, I was purely talking about coupes though.

Yours is starting to like a bargin now, only twice the price of most others.

It's a good point - the only reason why there are so few white cars is because it wasn't very popular at the time and nobody ordered it. That time will come again. But to me part of the appeal is the rarity and that will never change.

On the issue of removing the private plates V5's etc. I went to the local agency on a Monday, Shrewsbury in my case. Swapped the plates over, had V5, MOT, Tax Disk back on the Friday. Not sure if it's the same if your putting it on retention but would imagine it's less work than swapping from one vehicle to another.

Maybe I was lucky but well worth a trip to your local DVLA.

Lovely motor by the way :driving:
